​This installation grows from sustained observation of plant behavior, particularly the searching, adaptive movement of climbing vines. In Snake-Legged Vine, a handwoven tubular form coils around an architectural column, transforming the existing architecture into a living support for vegetal growth. Woven from hand-spun and dyed paper yarn, the sculpture climbs, loops, and returns upon itself, extending into a canopy of purple blossoms. Drawing on the myth of the Snake-Legged Goddess, the sculpture imagines the vine as an ancient, adaptive body whose movement binds together architecture, memory, and vegetal life.
