Kathie Halfin

The installation is an ongoing project and a collaboration between Kathie Halfin and Jean Carla Rodea. This sculptural sonic work created through dialogical and research processes.The work is composed of sculptural objects and sound that are reminiscent of the body. The sculptures in this project suggest performative actions aiming to question binary beliefs about physical pleasure, sexuality, and power. By playing with scale, texture, and sound they provide an alternative redistribution of sensations in the body that revive bodily potential and incite pleasure.
