Video Performance "Common Soils" represents the fluidity of time and a constant change of the body and the environment in the ongoing construction of identity. The reflective surfaces in the piece refer to the idea of the future borrowed from Russian futuristic movies that were popular in the '70s and '80s. The performance was filmed in Prospect Park in Brooklyn in 2020. The image of the park, the nostalgic undertone of the mirror surfaces, and the wonky destabilizing sound produced by metal plates suggest a space for meditation and possible transformation that becomes urgent in unstable times and the times of crisis.​
